Ayurveda has always made use of an extensive number of herbs and spices which have curative and healing properties. They can be used preemptively to prevent diseases and boost immunity. In some instances, they can be used to relieve symptoms as well. It is important to include many of these herbs in regular diet in order to promote health and well-being. Below are the few important herbs used in Ayurveda.

  • Cloves are used for their instant pain relief especially in the teeth. It also relieves coughs, colds, sore throat and bad breath.
