Ayurveda is based on the belief that every individual has a unique balance of 3 doshas. So what are doshas? Doshas are the type of energy which is particular to ever person, and resonate characteristics which are similar to worldly elements. There are 3 doshas, vata, kapha and pitta. Ayurveda medicine is deeply rooted in finding the cause for ailments and diseases by analyzing the dosha of a person and finding which dosha is unbalanced. The meaning of Ayurveda lies in all-natural, holistic healing, which does not negatively affect the body in any way.
